Check-in: 7:30 a.m.
Competition: 9:00 a.m.
REGISTRATION FEE:
Each participant will pay a one time registration fee of
$25 before July 1st or $30 after July 1st.
SPORT FEE:
$15 per person. Unlimited number of events.
 
By registering for this event all participants agree to the Kansas Senior Games NO REFUND policy.

Online Registration will open May 1, 2017.
DEADLINE:
Friday, September 2nd. Late entries will not be accepted.
T-SHIRTS:
Commemorative t-shirts will only be distributed to participants who register prior to September 2nd.

COMPETITION FORMAT

  • Certified implements will be provided for all events (excluding Hammer) and age groups. In addition, athletes shall be permitted to use their own implements, provided they have been certified by the Track & Field Committee. Athletes who wish to use their own implements shall agree to all certification procedures including but not limited to marking, impounding, etc.
  • Athletes must provide their own vaulting poles and Hammer implements.
  • Shoes must comply with USATF Rule 143, 3(a)-(f).
  • All track events will be timed finals. The number of heats will be determined based on the number of entries.
  • For field events, four attempts will be given. Exception: high jumpers and pole vaulters will be allowed three consecutive misses.
  • Cafeteria style denotes that you have an opportunity to complete all trials in your registered field events within the allotted time. IT IS THE ATHLETE'S RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE COMPLETED ALL TRIALS IN THEIR FIELD EVENTS PRIOR TO THE CLOSING OF THE EVENT!
  • In the High Jump and Pole Vault competitions, the bar will be begin at the height noted by the Games Committee. Once the bar begins it's progression, it will not be lowered for any reason, NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • Competitors must not wear clothing that could impede the view of the judges.
  • This meet will be conducted in accordance with USA Track & Field (USATF) rules, except as modified herein. Please visit www.usatf.org/ for a copy of these rules.
  • Below are the weights of the various throwing implements (subject to change) to be used by each gender and age group.
