DATE/TIME:
Check-in: Friday, July 21, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Vet-in: Friday, July 21, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Ride Meeting: Friday, July 21, 2017 at 7:30 p.m.
Ride: Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 6:30 a.m.
Awards Banquet: Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.
SITE:
Melvern Lake, Eisenhower State Park, Westpoint Equestrian Campground. Take US HWY 75 South of Lyndon or North from I-35 on US HWY 75 to HWY 278, then West on HWY 278 approximately 3 miles to Eisenhower State Park. Follow the signs from HWY 278. Click here for directions.
 
All activities will take place at Westpoint Campground. Ride will start from and all Vet checks will take place at Westpoint Campground.
FEE:
$40 per person

Each rider is responsible for their vehicle/camping fees.
 
By registering for this event all participants agree to the Sunflower State Games NO refund policy.
REGISTRATION:

DEADLINE:
Saturday, July 15. Registration deadline will NOT be extended.
Day-of entries accepted with a $5 late fee.
TOWELS
*NEW IN 2017* Commemorative towels will only be distributed to participants who register prior to July 15.

COMPETITION FORMAT:

MOTDRA rules and scoring apply: www.motdra.org. Horses must have negative coggins, no health certificate required on Kansas horses. Please don’t bring a horse in questionable health. Horses should be capable of riding 5-7 mph for the duration of the ride. Shoes are recommended. Eisenhower State Park horse trails are a blend of wooded areas and open fields. Significant hills in certain areas. Plenty of water is generally available along trail sections of the park. The Awards Banquet on Saturday evening includes pot-luck supper, awards, music, and socializing.
