TEAM ROSTERS & WAIVERS:  

Please read this section carefully regarding our policy and procedure for completing your team rosters and waivers online using the Team Portal. Team rosters may only be submitted online via the Team Portal as paper forms no longer exist. After your registration has been processed, you will be directed to your Team Portal. There you will use the Team Portal to invite participants to join your roster. ALL PARTICIPANTS ON YOUR TEAM MUST JOIN YOUR ROSTER USING THE TEAM PORTAL - NO EXCEPTIONS. Team rosters MUST be completed online using the Team Portal by 6 pm on Wednesday, July 6th. Rosters will be frozen at this time. Failure to meet the team roster deadline will result in your team being pulled from the competition with no refund.  By registering for this event, all teams agree to follow the Roster & Waiver submission policies and procedures. Teams must check in at least an hour one prior to their first game. Coaches are required to have copies of birth certificates for all players on their roster with them at check-in. Roster limit of 14, a minimum of 9.
 

COMPETITION FORMAT:

- Divisions include: 7U Machine Pitch, 8U Machine Pitch, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U, & High School.

- All divisions: Pool play with a single elimination championship bracket. The format may be altered depending on the number of teams registered.

- SSG reserves the right to combine divisions. If there are not enough teams to form a single division, then divisions WILL be combined using the following format: 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, and 13/14. Divisions must have a minimum of four teams or will be combined.

- Teams are responsible for providing their own catcher's equipment, bats, helmets, etc. Game balls will be provided by the Sunflower State Games. Teams must assist in obtaining foul balls.

- All rules are governed by USSSA Baseball. Click here for the complete rules listing. Various rules will be modified by SSG as listed below.

- Run Rule: A run rule shall be used to complete a regulation game when one team's margin of lead is greater than or equal to the listed run differential: 12 after the 3rd inning, 10 after the 4th inning, or 8 after the 5th inning. 7/8 divisions will get a maximum of 6 runs per inning.

- Pitch Limit: No limitations, coaches please use discretion.

- 7U/8U: 6 innings or 90 minutes, 60' baseline, 43' pitching distance

- 9U/10U: 6 innings or 90 minutes, 65' baseline, 46' pitching distance

- 11U/12U: 6 innings or 90 minutes, 70' baseline, 50' pitching distance

- 13U: 7 innings or 105 minutes, 80' baseline, 54' pitching distance

- 14U: 7 innings or 105 minutes, 90' baseline, 60'6" pitching distance

- HS: 7 innings or 105 minutes, 90' baseline, 60'6" pitching distance

- No Ties will keep playing until there is a clear winner

- Four coaches are allowed in the dugout.

- Steel spikes are NOT allowed for any division. No exceptions.

- The age determination date is May 1, 2024.

- Each team must provide a scorekeeper. The home team will be the official scorebook.

- A coin flip will determine the home team for all pool games. Seeds will determine the home team in bracket play.

- Tiebreakers: 1) Total Runs Against 2) Total Runs Scored 3) Total Point Differential (+) or (-) max of 8.

- Gold and Silver medals are awarded to the top two teams in each age division. No third-place games will be played. Trophy awarded to the first-place team in each division.

- No Sunflower Seeds are allowed in the complex.

An admission fee will be charged for spectators. $1 per person each day.
