Overview


Dates - August 4th

Times - Each camp will run from 9 am - 1 pm with an 8:30 am check-in. 

Ages - 6-12 with a split between ages 6, 7, 8 and 9, 10, 11, 12. 

Locations - Washburn University (Lee Arena and soccer practice fields), Bettis Sports Complex, and Envista Softball Complex

Registration - Registration can be done online or in person on the day of the camp. Payment must be made in full and a liability waiver must be signed to participate.

Basic format - Campers will have the opportunity to receive high-level coaching to improve their skills while having fun at the inaugural Sunflower Kids Camp. Coaches include Washburn men's basketball player, Andrew Orr, ex-college baseball coach of 8 years, Kris Wheeler, and Washburn's women's soccer player, Ana Muruzabal! Each camp will be a mix of technical drills and fun games to get the best of both worlds. Lunch is not provided and campers will be expected to bring their equipment such as bats, gloves, cleats, and basketball shoes. All other equipment such as tees, pitching machines, soccer balls, etc. will be provided by the venue. We hope to see you there!
